I am a product designer and researcher from the Netherlands, currently based in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a designer and researcher, I am driven by the multi-faceted environmental and societal challenges of today. I believe that good design can contribute to a sustainable and circular future, but it requires evidence-based research, systemic approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My combined passion for design practice and research has made me pursue a PhD in circular design, which revolved around the role of design and co-creation in the transition to a circular economy.

Through 10+ years of combined experience in design and research, I have developed a wide skill set ranging from industrial design to digital product design (UI/UX) and became competent in organizing and executing mixed method research (deploying both qualitative and quantitative research). I am a holistic thinker and like to find creative solutions to complex issues, I thrive in multi-disciplinary environments and like facilitating co-creative processes and workshops in multi-stakeholder contexts, I am a dedicated team worker and proficient communicator and public speaker.
